Privacy Policy

We collect only what the platform needs to work:

• Account data - email address, display name, timezone, and preferences you set.
• Content you create - community threads, comments, likes, and personal notes on positions.
• Positioning data - signals you join, your tracked entry price, and when you report closing. This is data you explicitly enter; we have no connection to your brokerage or exchange.
• Watchlists and alerts - the assets you follow and the alert rules you create.
• Technical logs - IP address, request identifiers, and timestamps kept for security, rate limiting, and debugging.

Your individual positions are never shown to anyone else - not to other members, not on signal pages, not in any feed. Positioning is only ever published as anonymous aggregates (participant count, average entry, percent still holding), and only once enough members participate that no individual can be inferred.

This is enforced in the backend, not just hidden in the interface.

Your data is used to:

• operate your account, watchlists, alerts, and notifications;
• compute anonymous aggregate positioning around signals;
• display your community posts under your display name;
• keep the Service secure and diagnose failures;
• send you transactional email (confirmation, password reset).

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not run third-party advertising or ad trackers.
• We do not share individual positioning data with anyone.
• We do not connect to, or ask for credentials of, your brokerage or exchange accounts.

Account data, content, and positioning live in our database hosted by Supabase (Postgres). The web apps are served by our hosting providers; the API runs on our own infrastructure. Market data providers receive no personal data about you - the platform requests prices, not the other way around.

CapitalFronts uses cookies for one thing: keeping you signed in (Supabase session cookies). There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your data is kept while your account exists. If you delete your account, your profile, watchlists, alerts, positions, and personal notes are removed. Community posts are removed or anonymized. Already-published aggregate statistics (which contain nothing identifying) may persist. Security logs age out on a rolling basis.

You can access and correct your profile in Settings at any time. You can request an export or deletion of your data by contacting us. If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory data rights (e.g., GDPR), we will honor access, rectification, deletion, and portability requests accordingly.

If this policy changes materially, we will announce it in-app or by email before the change takes effect.
